Foo Fighters Unveil ‘Sonic Highways’ Trailer

Finally the moment we’ve been waiting for,  the full trailer for  Foo Fighters  upcoming HBO series, Sonic Highways is out!

Sonic Highways will showcase Foo Fighters’ sessions in eight different cities — which includes New Orleans, Washington DC, New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Austin, Seattle and Nashville as they record their latest album. Every episode will feature how the band explores the rich musical history in each city before recording the song inspired by their time spent there. Legends such as Joe Walsh (Eagles), Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) and Gary Clark Jr. join Foo Fighters in studio, which means all of them have contributed to the new album,which is set for release 10 November worldwide.

 

The trailer features various scenes from the show, including in-studio footage of the band recording the new album, interviews with a wide variety of individuals who has influenced music in a big way,  with LL Cool J, Bon, Slash, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Joan Jett, KISS‘ Paul Stanley, The Black Keys‘ Dan Auerbach, ZZ Top‘s Billy F. Gibbons, Macklemore, Buddy Guy, Trombone Shorty and loads of others. Heck, Dave even sits down and talks to Obama.

We can look forward to numerous Foo Fighters fixes in the upcoming couple of months. In October  the HBO series will launch, November the album will be released world wide  and in December we get to see Foo Fighters live for the first time in South Africa. Fans will have more than enough to feast their eyes and ears on. Excitement mounts at the prospect that all of this is just around the corner.
