Goldfish Submerged Sundays Opening Party This Sunday!

Cape Town’s most famous duo shake up the sultry seaside venue, Shimmy Beach, every Sunday over the 2016/2017 summer. This Sunday, 27th November is the opening party! It’s the epitome of summer in our beautiful beachfront city and an experience you’d be unwise to miss. The afternoon’s festivities kick off at 3pm and continue on until late into the night.

If summer had a sound, it would be the jazzy electro beat of legendary local duo Goldfish. The world-renowned act’s tropical house grooves are synonymous with warm weather, so fans will be more than pleased to hear that the band has returned to the V&A Waterfront’s sexy Shimmy Beach Club this balmy season. The popular Submerged Sundays sessions will be running for ten weeks from Sunday, 27 November 2016 until January 2017.

The swanky, incredibly spacious Shimmy sits right on the water’s edge and boasts a sprawling deck that sidles up to an infinity pool and its own manmade beach, which is precisely where the souped-up outdoor stage is located. Guests can enjoy the ultimate oceanfront party, dancing to Goldfish’s infectious melodies with sand between their toes and a soft sea breeze drifting through their hair.
